In 2024, I was named as one of Iberia Parish’s top 20 professionals under 40 years old.
I am grateful for the community of New Iberia and Iberia Parish for recognizing the import work that I have done at the Shadows. I returned to Iberia Parish in order to tell a more complete story of the plantation museum that includes the enslaved people, the Weeks family, and freed people after the Civil War. It means the world that the community has been so supportive of me and the important work we are doing!
