In 2023, I established a multi-year partnership with The Historic New Orleans Collection Decorative Arts of the Gulf South (DAGS) to document the Shadows’ decorative arts collection.
In an effort to expand access of the Shadows collection, I partnered with DAGS to photograph, document, and grant public digital access to the vast decorative arts collection. In the summer of 2023, DAGS staff and interns spent two weeks at the Shadows and added nearly 100 pieces to the DAGS database. The DAGS team returns in the summer of 2024 to continue their documentation. In 2024, their focus will be on the decorative arts that are in storage and rarely seen by visitors.
